Push New York Africa Safaris is an independent specialist travel company. Push New York Africa Safari’s proprietors and guides have been active in the tour industry in East Africa for more than 5 years >and are experts in the field. They are backed by a small, committed team of travel professionals who really do have a passion for what they are doing.

From the very beginning, the company’s central tenet was to offer safaris which were inspiring to travelers, but also brought benefits to the local people, wildlife and environment of the destination.

Push New York Africa Safaris is especially proud of the repeat business it has garnered over the years. The director and primary manager, maintains associations with many previous clients who have reveled in their safari experiences, remain in contact and return yet again for even more African adventures. Our holidays are mainly tailor made and we currently cover the following destinations: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda & Zanzibar and we really do know the places that we sell.

We are members of the travel industry association of TATO (Tanzania Association of Tour Operators) and ATA (Africa Travel Association). This means that our clients are fully protected.

Tanzania is a travel destination for all those who are interested in wildlife and the beauty of nature. Tourists from all over the world flock to Tanzania to view hundreds of species of animals and birds in their natural habitat. The varied landscape; rolling grasslands, rivers criss crossing the plains with forests on either side, swamps, mountains and lakes, the wondrous Ngorongora Crater area and the rocky kopjes that are the abode of the big cats and other animals; all combine to make Tanzania travel a dream that all travellers nurture.

Only a couple of decades ago Tanzania travel was not in the itinerary of the weak hearted. It was considered pure adventure and those used to a cushy city life would hardly dare to venture into the open grasslands where predators lived. That is not the case now; Tanzania travel still holds excitement and adventure but it is not dangerous anymore. The various safaris offered by experienced travel and tour companies such as Push Africa Safari are so well organized that there is comfort combined with all the adventure of travelling in the wild, watching the great migration and observing nature at its pristine best in the safety of armoured vehicles can be considered the best way to get the best of both worlds.

Although the season of migration from July through September is considered the right time to visit North Tanzania there is plenty to see and enjoy in the rest of the country as well. It is no surprise that visitors consider Serengeti as the most important destination in their Tanzania travel plans as the spectacle of hundreds of thousands of herbivorous mammals going north to find better pastures and the carnivorous lions and cheetahs finding ready prey in the herds that are crossing the plains of Serengeti is awe inspiring to say the least and should be witnessed by all at least once in a lifetime. This is also a cultural experience as the oldest Maasai tribes have been living here in complete harmony with nature for millions of years.

The mountains with Mount Kilimanjaro lording over the landscape, the tropical beaches of Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia, and the equally breathtaking sights in other reserves such as Ruaha, Katavi, Selous and Mahale offer other interesting phenomena that are a delight to witness.

Tanzania truly represents t he essence of Africa and many tourists find Tanzania travel almost addictive as there is so much to see and a lot to do and the whole experience is so unique and exciting that it is becoming a much sought after destination for tourists to Africa.
